500 Hours Yoga Teacher Training in Rishikesh, India

The 500-hours yoga teacher training course is a combination of 200 and 300-hours in the same sequence. These courses comply with the Yoga Alliance standards. On successful completion of these courses, a participant may choose to enrol with Yoga Alliance as a Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT 500).

Our teacher training courses are fully residential and intensive, designed to provide in-depth understanding that is essential to be able to teach Yoga.

Students enrolled for 500-Hours Yoga Teacher Training will begin with 200-Hours Yoga Teacher Training and continue to stay for 300-hours training. There is usually a break of a day or two between two courses.

500 Hour Yoga Teacher Training in India with RYT 500 Yoga Alliance Certification

Upon course completion, the performance will be assessed based on overall satisfactory performance at the course as well as attendance requirement, the graduating students will be issued a yoga teacher training certification from Abhayaranya - Rishikesh Yogpeeth accredited by Yoga Alliance.

The student can choose to register themselves on Yoga Alliance USA upon payment of the required certification fee to Yoga Alliance. Details of the accreditation process can be found on the Yoga Alliance website.

500 Hour Yoga Teacher Training - Eligibility

  • For the Core 300 hour YTTC in Rishikesh, you must complete the 200 hours training first. The 300 hours course is built up on the base of 200 hours training to further strengthen the practitioner’s knowledge and understanding.
  • All courses are conducted in English. Reasonable proficiency in the language is expected from the participants.
