Yoga Instructors with Experience at abhayaranya Yoga Ashram

In addition to their current yoga certification, we provide in-house training for our teachers. This is to ensure that all of our teachers adhere to the rigorous requirements of the Yoga Alliance Syllabus and the yoga education system of Abhayaranya Yoga Ashram.

In order to provide our students with a comprehensive and integrated platform where they can not only learn yoga but also practice it, we assign three to four experienced yoga instructors who specialize in different aspects of yoga, including the other seven limbs of Patanjali Yogsutra, to each batch of yoga teacher training students.

One of the lead trainers on the team is an E-RYT with several thousand hours of experience.

A well-known figure in the yoga community, Prahlad Singh is an experienced yoga instructor. For Prahlad, practicing yoga is a way of life rather than a career.

Despite being born and raised in Rishikesh, the global center of yoga, he had no interest in yoga. He began by exercising on his own to stay in shape, and before he knew it, he had become quite proficient.

And it was a truly transformative experience. At that point, he made the decision to impart his wisdom and experience to everyone.

"It was the best decision of my life," he said. As a yoga teacher, my journey began in 2007 and has continued ever since, becoming stronger.

Dr. Amaravathi Eraballi received a brief break in her modern education to pursue a bachelor's and master's degree in physiotherapy (focusing on cardio-respiratory conditions) in Tirupati, South India, as part of the preschool lifestyle she had learned from her grandmother. After earning her Master of Physiotherapy for Cardio-Thoracic Conditions from the esteemed Sri Venkateshwara Institute of Medical Sciences (SVIMS), Tirupati, she entered the field of yoga.

having earned a diploma in yoga therapy in 2006 from Sanskrit University in Tirupati. Beginning in the operating room and progressing to outpatient rehabilitation, she began incorporating physiotherapy and yoga techniques for cardiac and respiratory conditions in 2004. She achieved success quickly and without any issues at every level of counseling and training.

She began her academic and clinical career at Rishikesh after earning her PhD in Yoga and Life Sciences from Swami Vivekananda Yoga Anusandhana Samsthana (SVAYSA), Bengaluru. She had the opportunity to experiment and conduct small-scale classroom research in the yoga studio at the Rishikesh Yog Sansthan, in Rishikesh, Uttarakhand, with students from both India and overseas. As a guest faculty member, she will be directing the PhD thesis and MSc yoga research at the Indian central government starting in 2020.

Aman Tiwari

Aman Tiwari is a new kid on the block who is very driven and passionate about what he does. Aman made the decision to carry on his family's rich Sanskrit and spiritual heritage at a very young age. He earned a bachelor's degree in Sanskrit and a master's degree in yoga. He finished his 500-hour yoga teacher training at Abhayaranya Yoga Ashram without delay since he was so clear-eyed.

Aman's daily routine includes teaching classes for retreats, regular discussions on Yoga Philosophy, and acquiring in-depth knowledge of human anatomy. Abhayaranya Yoga Ashram, aware of his aspirations, began preparing their youngest family member to become one of the best Yoga teachers.

Nitish Lakhera

Nitish was raised in a home full of yoga practitioners and has followed a path of spirituality and yoga since she was a young child. Growing up surrounded by a spiritual environment in a small town at the foothills of the Himalayas, he was born and raised in a traditional Brahmin family, which naturally led him to adopt a yogic lifestyle. Over the course of his more than six years of professional yoga practice, Nitish has developed an incredible experience base and a solid reputation as a powerful yoga teacher in Rishikesh.

Nitish has absorbed a practical understanding of Hatha, Ashtanga, Vinyasa, Sukshma Vyayama, Pranayama, and Meditation through years of unwavering practice. Nitish helps his students execute the poses safely and effectively because he has a thorough understanding of the various yoga asanas and their advantages. Nitish's specialties include precise alignment of asanas, modification of asanas based on students' physical limitations, and variation of asanas

Dr. Piyush Dobhal

Dr. Piyush Dobhal - Ayurveda Doctor and Therapist in Rishikesh

Piyush is a proud owner of a BAMS degree and is a licensed Ayurvedic physician. Since 2020, he has been connected to Abhayaranya Yoga Ashram. His main responsibilities at RYP are overseeing the comprehensive treatment programs for visitors who come for particular retreats and giving lectures on Ayurveda in an effort to raise awareness and impart knowledge.

In order to help guests reach their health objectives, he works with them to identify their body type (prakriti), create a diet plan that suits their needs, and implement the necessary lifestyle adjustments. In addition to his regular practice of Kaya Chikitsa (Medicine) and Shalya Chikitsa (Surgery), he is aiming to specialize in Panchakarma (body cleansing through five procedures).

He claims that Ayurveda is a science of life rather than just a method of curing sickness. It provides a corpus of knowledge intended to keep people alive and help them reach their greatest potential as human beings. He works closely with our ashram guests, giving them instructions on diet, behavior, daily and seasonal routines, and use of senses. Ayurveda emphasizes that health is the dynamic and balanced combination of our environment, body, mind, and spirit, to use his own words.

Amit Saklani

Amit Saklani - Yoga Instructor at Abhayaranya Yoga Ashram

Amit is a committed and enthusiastic yoga teacher with more than five years of experience leading students through the life-changing practice of yoga. Uttarakhand Sanskrit University certified yoga science practitioner with expertise in therapeutic alignment, adjustment, and asana approaches.

Amit practices yoga holistically, combining ancient and modern methods to strike a harmonious balance between stamina, flexibility, and inner serenity. In order to make sure that every student feels supported and at ease, their classes are made to accommodate students of different skill levels.

Amit Ji's classes combine an in-depth understanding of asanas with a teaching style that caters to all skill levels, so students can grow and thrive regardless of their yoga experience.

Shailesh Chamoli

Shailesh Chamoli - Yoga Instructorat Abhayaranya Yoga Ashram

Shailesh is Abhayaranya Yoga Ashram's young gun. Shailesh knew exactly what he wanted to accomplish from a very young age. Shailesh began his training at Abhayaranya Yoga Ashram, as an assistant teacher following his graduation from Swami Rama Himalayan University with a Bachelor of Science in Yoga Sciences.

Because of his unmatched commitment to yoga, Abhayaranya Yoga Ashram chose to send him to Kaivalyadhama Yoga Institute, Lonavala, one of the most esteemed yoga schools, in order to further his academic goals and broaden his knowledge.

The six-month yoga therapy internship Shailesh completed in a hospital, where he assisted patients dealing with the side effects of cancer treatment, was one of the pivotal moments in his life.

He also collaborated with other departments, such as neurology, orthopaedics, and psychiatry, treating patients on a physical level through shatkarma, asana, and joint movements, as well as on a mental and spiritual level through pranayama, mantra chanting, relaxation techniques, and meditation. His faith and confidence in Yogic practices were further cemented upon witnessing the effects of these practices. As a result, he committed his life to practicing yoga and spreading what he had learned for the benefit of society. This learning continues today.
